In 2007, five terminals operated by Cargill, James Richardson International, Viterra-Cascadia Terminal, Viterra Pacific Elevators, and Alliance Grain Terminal and exported approximately 11.5 million tons of a variety of grains in the Port of Vancouver. Kinder Morgan’s Vancouver Wharves and Neptune Terminals also export specialty grains and legumes to world markets. Prince Rupert Grain, is the newest grain loading facility on Canada’s west coast. Grain exported through the Port of Prince Rupert is all shipped through this state of the art terminal.
